Invisi-Maxx: screens tested against cyclone debris

Invisi-Maxx is the screen in the Invisi-Gard range that's built and tested to stop flying debris in a cyclone. You keep the light, the breeze and the view, all year round. Townsville is in cyclone region C.

  • Independently lab tested
  • 316 marine-grade stainless steel
  • 15-year warranty
How it's tested

Faster debris than the standard asks for

In a cyclone, everyday objects become flying debris. Australian Standards set how fast that debris is fired at a screen in testing. For a home in the most extreme cyclone areas (region D), that's 35.2 metres per second.

Invisi-Maxx has been independently tested to exceed the requirements for cyclone regions C and D.

From Alspec, the Australian company that designs Invisi-Maxx. Speeds are from independent testing by an accredited lab. Ratings depend on the right mesh for the building and correct installation, so for new builds, check with your certifier. We can supply the test certificate.

More than a cyclone screen

Working for you every day of the year

  • Security

Heavy-duty frame and tamper-proof mesh retention. Tested to exceed the impact requirements of the Australian Standards for window and door security, and stands up to the knife test.

Marine-grade 316 stainless steel. In salt spray testing the mesh went more than 2,000 hours with no corrosion, where 240 hours is the pass mark.

  • Light, air and views

Leave the windows and doors open to the breeze, and keep the view you bought the house for.

  • 15-year warranty

Backed by Alspec, the Australian company that designs and tests it. See warranty and care for looking after stainless steel screens.
