S-Fold curtains
S-Fold curtains (also called wave curtains) hang from a track with evenly spaced carriers, so the fabric falls into soft, even folds. They look clean and modern, and stack neatly to the side when they're open.
- Sheer. Softens the afternoon glare and keeps the view.
- Room-darkening. For bedrooms, media rooms and shift workers.
- Layered. A sheer in front of a room-darkening curtain gives you both.
Roller blinds
Simple, neat and great value. Roller blinds come in a wide range of fabrics and colours, and blockout fabrics are a favourite for bedrooms and nurseries.
Blockout fabric stops light coming through the blind, but light can still sneak in around the edges. For a really dark room the fit matters as much as the fabric, or you can layer a blind with curtains.

Keeping the heat out
Inside blinds and curtains cut the glare, but shading the glass from the outside does far more to keep a room cool, especially on east and west windows. For the hottest windows, look at roller shutters or outdoor blinds.

Blinds or shutters?
Blinds and curtains cost less and come in far more fabrics and colours. Plantation shutters last for years and wipe clean in seconds. Most homes end up with a mix, and we'll help you work out what suits each window.

Common questions
Do I need to measure my windows?
No. We measure every window ourselves at the free measure and quote, so your blinds and curtains fit properly the first time.
How do I get a bedroom really dark?
Blockout fabric stops light coming through the blind, but light can still sneak in around the edges. For a really dark room the fit matters as much as the fabric, or you can layer a blind with curtains.
Are S-Fold curtains the same as wave curtains?
Yes. S-Fold curtains, also called wave curtains, hang from a track with evenly spaced carriers, so the fabric falls into soft, even folds and stacks neatly to the side.
Can I mix blinds and shutters?
Yes, and most homes do. Plantation shutters often go in the living areas and bathrooms, with blinds or S-Fold curtains in the other rooms. We'll help you work out what suits each window.
How long do blinds and curtains take?
About 5 to 7 weeks from the measure to installation, for most products.
