How they work
The secret is the track. S-Fold curtains run on a special track with carriers spaced evenly along it, joined so they stay at a set distance from each other. The curtain fabric attaches to those carriers, and because the spacing is always the same, the fabric falls into the same soft S-shaped wave all the way along.
That's why they look so tidy, open or closed. There are no bunched-up gathers or uneven pleats.
Sheer or room-darkening?
- Sheers soften harsh light and glare, give daytime privacy and keep the view. Lovely in living rooms, especially in Townsville's bright afternoon light.
- Room-darkening fabrics block much more light, and suit bedrooms and media rooms.

S-Fold vs other curtain styles

- Eyelet: rings punched into the fabric slide along a rod. Casual, and the folds are less even.
