What warranty comes with Invisi-Gard?

The 316 stainless mesh has a lifetime warranty on homes and the frame has 15 years, when installed by a licensed Invisi-Gard dealer and cleaned as recommended. Alu-Gard has a 7-year warranty.

Who makes your security screens?

Invisi-Gard is designed in Australia by Alspec. As a licensed dealer, we cut, build and fit every screen to order in our Townsville workshop.

Can you fit security screens to sliding doors and patios?

Yes. We make hinged and sliding security doors, window screens, emergency escape screens and full patio enclosures.

Which security screen should I choose?

It depends on what matters most to you. Invisi-Gard has the finest mesh, suits homes near the water and has the longest warranty. Alu-Gard and diamond grille cost less. We'll recommend the right one when we measure up.

How do I look after my security screens?

Rinse and gently wipe them with warm water and a soft brush or mitt, about once a month in a tropical climate like Townsville. Avoid strong detergents. Regular cleaning keeps them looking good and is part of keeping the warranty.

How long do security screens take?

About 5 to 7 weeks from the measure to installation, for most products.

Good to know

  • A screen door is only a true security door when it has proper security locks and hinges and is installed to the standard. Ask us about the locks we fit.
  • Adding a pet door to an Invisi-Gard door means it's no longer classed as a security door.
  • In Townsville's tropical climate, rinse and wipe your screens about once a month. It keeps them looking good and is part of keeping the warranty.
  • The exact price depends on size, locks and colour. You'll get a firm quote at the free measure.
